Well, there are a lot of ways…..as an American citizen, you have the right and responsibility to take part in your government. You can do this by voting, writing your congressman, and campaigning for the environment. Contacting your representative is a way to influence legislation. If the people of a district or state do not voice their concerns, they cannot blame congress for doing so little. The legislature is only as good as the people voting them in.
