How do we decide where roads go?

  1. 0 Votes

Decisions on where roads should go are usually influenced by federal and other state agencies, local governments, regional planning organizations, and residents. When deciding, these groups look at development and land use plans, traffic patters, economic impacts, and safety. Environmental concerns do play a role occasionally, although sometimes other considerations can overturn environmental reasons.
