In quite a variety of ways just off the top of my head. Firstly, seals suffer from habitat loss due to melting sea ice caused by global warming. Secondly, seals face increased competition with humans for its food source, declining populations of fish. They’re also susceptible to the direct predations of humans for their skins. And finally, pollution associated with oil drilling, maritime trade, etc, can kill many seals each year.
