An anti-homosexuality bill has been proposed in Uganda. If passed, anyone caught committing or attempting to commit homosexual acts, have been convicted of committing homosexual acts in the past, carrying the HIV virus, or having sex with anyone under 18 could be punishable by extradition or even death.

Homosexuality is already illegal in Uganda, punishable by up to life imprisonment, but because the law requires the accused to be seen by a credible witness actually engaging in gay sex, convictions are rare.
