Need to know very quickly yet again, thank you!
Trees do not technically need owls. One helpful notion about owls though, is that they are the recyclers of an ecosystem: living in old nests, and hollowed cavities of trees. (Sometimes holes are made in trees by woodpeckers and eventually abandoned.) That could be beneficial, but trees won’t die if owls decide to fly in the face of their arboreal nature.
