How do tidal energy plants work?

  1. 0 Votes

They generate energy by harnessing the power of the tides. The process is similar to a traditional hydro-power generator, however, the main difference lies in the way the dam works in each. In a tidal energy system, the water’s rise is captured producing energy, whereas in a traditional hydroelectric dam system, the water’s flow is titrated to make energy.
