I have often seen solar panel companies set up informational booths at farmers markets or outdoor community festivals. Though this does a decent job hitting the target audience and getting people signed up for on-site evaluations, industry experts predict that only 10% of on-site evaluations turn into actual buyers. This low conversion rate has spawned a number of different companies to try some new marketing methods.
