The most common form of travel is by boat, on the huge network of rivers and tributaries winding all throughout the jungle. Where there are roads, of course, people take cars, buses, bikes, etc. Then there is the old-fashioned method of walking….
Some means of transportation in the Amazon rainforest include motorized canoes and catamarans. Most transportation is by river.
It is also not unfrequent for people to fly to central locations in the rainforest prior to the more water bound transportation.
