How do most invasive plant species enter the U.S.?

Invastive plants and animals can enter the U.S. in a few different ways. Plant pollens and seeds can be brought in a natural way, by birds or in the wind. However, most often they are brought by humans. This can happen in a few ways: crates packed with goods from other countries may have small animals or plant seeds in them, ballast waters from ships are collected in other parts of the world then deposited here in America, and people illegally smuggle in fruits and vegetables.
