How do minerals get inside of water?

Minerals can become dissolved in water when they are certain types of minerals that are affected by temperature, such as sulfur, and can become dissolved as gases in water that it comes into contact with.  The sulfur, which changes its chemical composition to sulfur hydroxide due to the chemical reaction, can become diffused into water.
