It looks like the best thing for you to do is to keep your Japanese maple in a location where it doesn’t get too much direct sunlight, and to make sure you’re watering your plant JUST enough – not too much and not too little. Japanese maples should be kept in soil with good drainage, and the soil should be moist, but not wet after watering.
