How do I calculate how much food I need to maintain my weight?

    The answer changes depending if you are male or female and your current health status. Also, your body type might make a difference in calculating how many calories you need to take in. The more physically active you are, the more calories you need to sustain your energy. Typically speaking, males between the ages of 19-59 need about 2500 calories per day. Females in that same age range need about 1900.
