The bicycle counters in Copenhagen work by displaying the number of cyclists using the green cycling paths throughout the city. They are also equipped with pump stations in case riders ever run low on air in their tires. They use sensor lines to come up with their counts.
Due to Copenhagen’s dedication towards building better bicycle cultures, certain streets are filled with plenty of bicycles. Here are some examples:
Dronning Louises Bro: 14,400 cars/ 30,000+ bikes
Langebro: 59,000 cars/ 30,200 bikes
