It’s a common thought that the cavement lived solely in caves, hence their name. However, this wasn’t always the case. Cavemen did live in caves, but they were used mainly as temporary shelters, rather than permanent homes. The cavemen were on the move a lot, so they used caves as means of shelter from one place to another.
The cavemen lived in groups of about 12, since anything larger typically wouldn’t be able to fit in a cave. They uesd the walls to possibly keep track of time through markings, and they also painted scenes from their environments.
