How could the “common cold” help tackle H1N1?

The common cold is an entirely different virus from the seasonal flu and H1N1 virus. Thus, having many forms of the common cold could boost your immune system which could indirectly help ward of the flu and any immune disease for that matter. But as far as direct influence on H1N1, it does not help very much.
