The consumer electronics show is taking multiple steps to ensure they are going green this year. Not only will they be featuring eco-friendly products, they’ll be donating $100,000 to local environmental groups. Likewise they will be utilizing EARTHERA, a company that uses all of it’s revenue to “build new renewable energy facilities”, in order to off-set the travel expenses from the event. Moreover, the show will be gifting an eco-focused gift bag to attendees. Lastly, event planners are designing the conference so that recycling stations are readily available.
