Water used for recycling has various levels of cleanliness. The process of recycling water is one that makes it clean enough to use on plant life. replenishing natural lakes, etc. These waters have not gone through a process called tertiary treatment; the tertiary treatment, a method of cleaning water with ultraviolet light, makes the water fit for human consumption.
