Hong Kong’s air quality is a very big problem. Their visibility can get less than 8 kilometers depending on the weather and season. Though Hong Kong has implemented certain green policies and programs, like switching to cleaner motor fuels for taxi’s and indoor smoking bans–they are not doing enough. This simple fact is a reason why their pollution levels are not getting any better. Their industries and main sources of air pollution are yet to be addressed or put on any serious agenda.
It is a slow process, and expect it to be so. Becoming green almost means to flip the infrastructure of many factors contributing to air pollution, and that takes time.
