Climate change causing global warming in some instances may not cause droughts but may prolong them and make them more extreme. It may have the effect of shrinking smaller lakes and reduce water in areas that teeter on the edge of drought as well. It will make it difficult for areas to deal with floods and potentially could make some areas unlivable. The threat is certainly real and the more information that comes out, the more an imperative to make changes arises.
