How can the world’s climate be stabilized?

In the absence of humans, the world climate is not what you probably mean by “stable”. A stable climate would be an awful thing to happen; it would mean the death of thousands of plants and animals, and the extinction of many species. The variability of earth’s climate is an incredibly good thing, even though it may well interfere (significantly) with human activities. Without climactic variability, life as we know it would eventually be impossible.
