Reuse as much as possible, recycle what you can, and ask companies to skim down. If you find a particular packaging particularly offensive (ie a bag, inside of an oversized box, wrapped in cellophane) tell the company they should slim down their packaging and they could even save money that way.
The best way to stop littering is on a person to person basis. Pick up trash when you see it on the ground. If you see someone drop some trash, call them out on it, make them pick it up. The best way for any environmental action to take place is for one person to step up and make a difference.
BY RECYCLE WHAT WE CAN(EG:PLASTIC BAG,PAPER,POLYSTYRENE)USE RECYCLE BAG TO SHOP.SUPPORT COMMUNITY CLEANSUP,RECYCLING PROGRAMS,LEGISLATION AND OTHER EFFORTS TO REDUCEC LITTER.
I think early education is a key aspect of how we reduce litter. It’s important to teach children at an early age of the harms that are caused when people litter. If children can grow up not littering, the world will be much cleaner in the future.
