We can’t. Regular products are cheap because of the cheaper production costs. If a company can grow more food with pesticides or manufacture more tv’s with underpaid employees then they can sell their products for less. The prices of nearly every product American’s buy have an artificially low production cost.
It would take government subsidizing to make organic good compete in price with regular goods; not to mention regular goods are already subsidized. Organic farming is more human-energy intensive. If people are paid fair wages it’s unlikely that organic products will ever be as cheap as other types.
