Use recycled paper for programs or hymn sheets to be eco-friendly. You can also use organic or locally grown flowers. Set up carpooling to the funeral and then to other locations.

Hope that answers your question
There are such things called “green graves” where your remains can become part of a coral reef, you can be placed in a biodegradable casket (without being disembalmed), etc. Being cremated is also much better than being buried because your remains can be scattered rather than permanently in the ground taking up space.
