It’s really difficult to actually “get rid of” your carbon footprint. It would require a lot of work and planning (see No Impact Man Project). To reduce your carbon footprint you can do some easy things like: limit the amount of things you buy new – instead by used clothes, furniture, ect., try to walk, bike or use public transport more, buy local produce and make food instead of ordering delivery or take out. Be alert to energy wasters – turn of lights, lower your thermostat, take shorter showers…the list goes on. These really aren’t complicated things, but if everyone did a little it would change a lot.
