How can we control the melting of the ice in Antarctica?

I don’t think we can actually control the melting of the ice. It is true that our releasing of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere is causing global warming and in turn causing the ice at the poles to melt faster, but unless we find a way to rapidly decrease the amount of carbon dioxide and other gases in the atmosphere, there isn’t any realistic way we can slow down the melting process.
