i have this cherry tree in my yard that has been uncared for for many years so i think. how can i revive this tree back to life.
The question is very much: What’s wrong with it? Possibilities are:
1) It’s old, and it’s dying naturally. Cherry trees live only 20-30 years.
2) It’s been damaged by cold weather, winter or incorrect pruning. These will shorten the tree’s life.
3) It’s got a disease. This may be expensive to diagnose or cure. Take a picture of the whole tree, and snap off a couple leaves that are diseased, and take them to your local nursery.
(I have tended many kinds of fruit trees over the years, and I was a little surprised at how fragile the cherry tree is.)
