There are several ways that you can use old tires that are useful. While it is hard to straight up recycle them because a lot of companies don’t recycle tires, you can use them in a garden as “guides” for your plants, or you can possibly donate them to your local public works program to be used in making new roads. Here are some more suggestions in this link.
There a number of things that your can do. You can use the tire in a garden to hold fertilized soil for a plant, create an obstacle course, or build a tire swing. More legitimately, you could sell your scrap tires to a salvage yard, which will reuse the tires, or you could give them back to a retailer which can recycle them. Lastly, you could check to see if your city or town has tire amnesty, where you can drop off a certain number of tires for the city to get rid of for free.
