You can easily mix natural vegetable-based soaps for all sorts of purposes by purchasing a castile soap base. My favorite is Dr. Bronner’s Magic liquid castile soap, which you can purchase at Target and grocery stores. Use it as a body wash by mixing with oils, aloe vera, or shea butter. Mix one part liquid castile soap, one part distilled water for a shampoo. Use 1/3 cup or so for laundry. Best thing about mixing your own soap is that it you’re avoiding harmful additives, plus its more cost efficient and works great!
