There are a couple different recipes for eco-friendly window cleaner.
1) 1/2 vinegar, 1 cup water, 2 drops of liquid soap– mix in spray bottle, spray & wipe.
2) 1 quart water, 1 quart white vinegar– mix in spray bottle, spray & wipe
Making your own eco-friendly window cleaner is a great way to keep extraneous chemicals out of the environment. All you need is water and borax. Borax can be found in the laundry aisle at your grocery store. Combine 2 TBSP of borax with 3 cups of water in a spray bottle and spray on the windows. It is best to wipe it away with newspapers because it prevents streaking.
