How can I make my leather shoes last longer?

You can protect your leather shoes from water damage by using saddle soap and a water-proofing spray. If they do get wet, you can stuff paper inside them to help them dry and maintain their shape. This will make a great difference if you do not wear them again until they are dry. It is also wise to use a small brush such as a tooth brush to wipe away any dirt and dust which may have collected especially in the crevices and around laces. Before doing this, or polishing your shoes, you should remove the laces. These tips should help keep you leather shoes looking new and also improve their durability and life expectancy.
