How can I get blackberry shoots from an existing blackberry bush?

    In late summer, bury the tip of one of the branches about 8 cm into soil. Over winter, the end should grow its own root system. In spring, the shoot can be cut from the bush and replanted. You can use a separate pot to start the shoot in and make replanting easier so you will not have to dig around the new roots.
