A great way for sustainable fixtures like green roofs to become less expensive is for the government to subsidize them. The government subsidizes a lot of items we use in daily life, corn in particular. At least some sort of tax incentive should be given to those companies who produce green products to make it cheaper for consumers to make smart, eco-friendly choices.
