Simple: capture it and burn it in a gas-fired electricity generating facility. In the US there is not really much gas that is flared, and some of it is of composition that is not amenable to this use. The huge quantities of gas flared in other nations are usually flared because there is no market nearby (or often, even on that continent) for the gas, and therefore there would also not likely be a market for any electricity generated either.
Bottom line is always economics.
