Dengue is a mosquite-born infection. So, correct me if I’m wrong, you can’t get a dengue infection unless you recieve blod from a diseased donor or use any other contaminated blood products. The disease is endemic in Africa, in the Americas, the Eastern Mediterrenean, South-east Asia and Western Pacific.
Dengue fever cannot be directly transmitted from person to person. It relies on mosquitoes to transmit the virus from infected to healthy individuals.
