The sun is considerably larger than the moon. According to NASA, the moon’s mass (how much matter it contains) is over 7 sextillion kilograms while the sun’s mass is approximently two nonillion kilograms. The Earth’s mass fits in-between the two, although the sun still stands out as the giant of the three.
Well, according to universetoday.com, I.3 million Earths could fit in the Sun, and, according to astro.umass.edu, the Earth is 3.8 times bigger than the Moon; therefore, about 4.94 million moons could fit inside the Sun.
