How big does your garden have to be to produce vegetables?

As long as you have enough space for a pot, you can produce vegetables. Some people live in places like apartments where you are not given any space to garden. Vegetables and produce such as carrots, radishes, lettuce, tomatoes, and bell peppers can all be grown in a pot. A 5 gallon pot is recommended for tomatoes and bell peppers. In general the more space you give a plant to grow the more its roots can expand, the larger it can get, and more produce can be grown. If you are limited on space you can also grown plants together such as growing cucumber, tomato, and parsley all together in the same pot.

I have good experience growing all sorts of vegetables in small to larger pots. Personally, I have planted (and eventually eaten) broccoli, red peppers, peas, tomatoes, and all sorts of lettuce. It basically depends on when you are planting and what particular plants will do exceptionally well within your climate range.
