The wolverine is a fascinating animal that appears to be a mixture of a bear and a weasel. These intelligent animals can be very tenacious predators. For their size, they are the supposedly the strongest mammal on earth. Adult wolverines usually range from three to three and half feet long. Their muscular bodies weigh in at 35 to 60 pounds.

Wolverines are the largest animal in the Weasel Family (Mustelidae). Others in this family include otters, badgers, minks, and of course, weasels. Wolverines are an average of 33-44in long from head to tail and weigh 24-40lbs, according to National Geographic.
