If measured from the head they are usually about 5 feet tall. From the spine, they are about 30-38 inches. They can weigh up to 170 pounds but usually rest somewhere between 110-170lbs. They are considered midsize animals which is part of their appeal for farmers as it makes them slightly easier to keep.
