How big can vipers get?

    There are over 200 different species of viper, and they vary greatly in size.  The largest sizes typically average around 5-6 feet in length, however the bushmaster from the Amazon can grow up to 10 feet.  Other vipers include rattlesnakes, copperheads, and asps.

    Adult vipers generally grow between two and four feet.  There are around 100 species of vipers, including rattlesnakes, but the rhinocerous viper has been known recorded as reaching 7 feet in size.
