How big can swans get?

    Adult swans have a wingspan of 6 to 8 feet from tip to tip. In height, they can stand anywhere from 3 feet to 5 feet tall. Swans grow to be anywhere between 22 to 33 pounds in weight. They also have the longest neck of any aquatic bird with 23 to 25 vertebrae.

    Mute, Trumpeter and Tundra swans are the largest species of swan. They can have up to 10ft wingspans, weigh up to 30lbs, and get up to 5ft tall. They also can fly up to 75mph and are one of the fastest flying birds.
