In a word, huge.  The largest lake trout I could find on record was a 50 inch, 102 lb 4 oz monster caught in Lake Athabasca in Alberta, Canada.  If you’ll check the first citation website, you can see the most current US records for lake trout.

The world record lake trout was caught in 1995 in Great Bear Lake, Northwest Territories, Canada. It weighed 72 lbs, 10 oz.
