Jaguars can reach a height of two and a half feet tall and eight feet long from tip of the nose to tip of the tail. A jaguar can weigh up to 250 pounds. This makes the jaguar the third largest of the living feline species, after the tiger and lion.

A jaguar’s length can cary from 1.62 to 1.83 meters, or between 5 to 6 feet long. If counting it’s tail, this could add about 75 centimeters to its length. Females are about 20-30% smaller than males.
