    It depends on the type of cactus you are talking about. The largest cactus in the world is the cardon cactus. It can grow as long as 21 meters or 70 ft high! That’s one big cactus! Another large cactus is the Saguaro. Its roots can grow as long as 30 meters. Stems can grow up to 20 meters, and the spines can grow up to 2 meters long. The Champion Saguaro can grow as long as 45.3 ft or 13.8 meters long.
