A beaver can be 23-39 inches (60 to 100cm) in length, and average weight is 60lbs. Their tails can be from 7.75 to 12 inches (20 to 30.5cm)

The person in the above comparison is 6 ft tall.

Beavers can attain weights of up to 60 lbs and reach lengths of up to 39 in. When you add in tail length, u get an extra 12 in body length.

I recall reading about a 122 pound beaver that was taken in Wyoming.  There was also mention of a specimen weighing 110 pounds from Wisconsin but this weight may have been an estimate.  One site mentions that the largest Missouri beaver weighed 96 pounds but does not provide details.
