    The tallest bamboo can get to 98 to 115 feet (30 to 35 meters) in height. It is the Dendrocalmus giganteus found in North East India and in North Bengal.

    The largest bamboo tree in existence is measured at 150 feet tall (46m) with a weight estimated at about 992 pounds (450kg). It can be found at the Yunnan Normal University’s artificially built forest, called the Menghai forest.
