How big are dung beetles?

Dung beetles can range in size from 2 mm to 60 mm in length.  They are an important part of pasture ecosystems, and they have quite a history behind them, as there have been many different species.  They can tell scientists about their past environments through the nests they leave behind, which can be preserved for a very long time.
