“Born” owls are typically quite tiny, especially if they have just hatched (!!!). However, assuming you are talking about barn owls, then males range from 12-1/2 to 15 inches long, with a 42 inch wingspan and a weight of just under a pound. Females are typically larger, with lengths of 13.5 to 15.5 inches, wingspans of 43 inches, and weights of 20 ounces.
Newborn owls, called Owlets, are generally very small. Like all birds, they are hatched from eggs, and most owlets do not stand more than six inches tall when they are born.
