    Beef industry leaders recently released guidelines to prevent E Coli from breaking out among cattle.  Cattle are being treated with Bovamine, a probiotic that has proven to reduce the outbreak of e coli by 71%.  Additionally, Tasco 14a, a seaweed extract, has also proven effective in preventing e coli outbreaks.  Also noted in the guidelines are that clean feed, water and facility standards must be observed.
