When fluids from a car drips or spills onto the ground, rainwater washes these pollutants into the storm drains. Whatever ends up in these storm drains eventually goes out to the ocean, bay, or other water reservoir. Even washing cars can lead to wildlife harm in the ocean and water pollution.
