This is an interesting question…my solution would be to create some sort of carbon meter in every factory, vehicle, etc. in order to measure the amount of carbon emitted. If this company has ways to reduce the carbon emissions, like planting a garden or forest, etc., this individual could get a tax break. Not a bad idea, eh?!
Currently, the U.S. government has instilled a network of “tall towers” around the country to monitor the amount of carbon entering the atmosphere. It measures both the contributions of natural sources as well as fossil fuel emissions burned by our houses and cars. The data is collected to provide information to governments, teachers, businesses, and the public in the hopes of bringing about awareness. Seven new towers are in the process of being built in various states.
